The conference will run from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Friday 26 June 2026.  Registration will open at 8:00 AM.

Yes, all presentation slidespost-event content and video recordings of each session will be made available to attendees via the Science Hub to continue your learning journey. Access to the Science Hub will be emailed to all attendees following the event.

DR PAUL TAYLOR

Dr Paul Taylor is a Psychophysiologist, with a PhD in Psychology, separate master's degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition and a postgraduate qualification in Neuroscience. A former Royal Navy Officer and former Adjunct Professor at University of San Francisco, Paul is a leading expert in hardiness - the cutting-edge science that transforms stress into competitive advantage.

As Director of Paul Taylor Consulting, he delivers keynote talks and hardiness training, leadership and performance workshops to companies such as Oracle, SAP, PWC, NAB, CBA, BUPA & the Australian Military. He has conducted published research that shows that his programs have proven benefits for increasing hardiness, cognitive function and employee wellbeing, whilst reducing burnout across multiple industries.

Paul is the author of the best-selling, multiple award-winning book "Death by Comfort" and has just released his second book, "The Hardiness Effect". Paul also hosts a podcast, Hardiness with Dr Paul Taylor which is in the top 0.5% of all podcasts globally, and has developed a Hardiness app to help people develop this crucial life skill. He has co-hosted the TV series "Body and Brain Overhaul", appeared regularly on "The Biggest Loser" Australia as a subject matter expert on Biological Age testing, and has been voted Australian Fitness Industry presenter of the year twice.

Paul's high-pressure leadership experience includes roles as Airborne Anti-submarine Warfare Officer and Helicopter Search-And-Rescue Crew Member with the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. He's undergone rigorous Military Combat Survival training, became a professional boxer in 2012, and in 2021, both Paul and his son Oscar became Australian Karate Champions.

RHIANNON HARDINGHAM

Rhiannon is an experienced naturopath, presenter, educator and author.

Focusing primarily on reproductive and gynaecological health, Rhiannon's practice incorporates integrative approaches for optimising fertility and hormonal health outcomes for her patients. Valuing collaborative care, she is deeply passionate about the role of functional medicine as a key component of routine healthcare.

Bringing experience from over 20 years in clinical practice, Rhiannon provides professional mentoring and education to clinicians. Her education style is approachable yet thorough, attracting practitioners from all areas of functional medicine, as she assists them to best understand hormone, fertility and pregnancy cases through expertise in nuanced pathology interpretation and herbal, nutritional and lifestyle medicine prescription.

Rhiannon runs the online clinic and education platform, RH: Reproductive Health, offering expert support to patients and clinicians in this highly specialised field.

DR CHRISTABELLE YEOH

MBBS, MRCP (UK), MSc (Nutrition), FACNEM

Dr Christabelle Yeoh has over 2 decades of experience in clinical care, most of which has focused on understanding root causes of chronic disease. She works with her patients to optimise their biophysical health, mitochondrial function, microbiome and brain performance. She applies the premise that dysfunctions can be corrected with established practices of environmental medicine and selective practices to support sensory motor integration and neuroplasticity.

Through understanding foundational biophysics, biochemistry, functional medicine testing and medical assessments, she guides people through specific lifestyle and nutrient advice to positively influence energy, immunity and resilience. Dr Yeoh has a strong interest in chronic disease management, neurological, GI- immune and metabolic health. She is the Clinical Director of Next Practice Genbiome, a leading integrative medicine clinic in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs hosting integrative doctors and other essential holistic modalities of health care. She is also a technical advisor for Mito Core, a naturopathic cell care clinic where the essential collaboration between naturopathic and functional medicine takes centre stage.    

Dr Yeoh graduated from medicine at the University of London in 1999 and obtained her membership with the Royal College of Physicians (UK). She has a Masters degree in Nutrition from King’s College London. After practicing hospital medicine, she worked as a general physician with an interest in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. She was a director and past president at the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), now being active within the teaching faculty. In between her busy clinical practice, she speaks at national and international education events.

She is passionate about sharing her in-depth knowledge on the interconnectedness of human metabolism, biology and behaviour.

DR OLIVIA LESSLAR

Dr Olivia Ly Lesslar is an Australian medical doctor recognised internationally for her work in psychoneuroimmunology, longevity, and complex-condition medicine. With formal training in both Medicine and International Relations, she integrates neuroscience, immunology, and behavioural science with systems-level insight drawn from diplomacy and strategic studies. Dr Lesslar is recognised for her ability to synthesise insights across multiple specialties and unravel complex, multi-systemic conditions that defy conventional diagnostic frameworks.

She is the Director of Functional and Longevity Medicine at Cingulum Health in Sydney and also holds leadership and advisory positions across more than thirty international organisations in neurotechnology, biotechnology, and space medicine, including Human Regenerator (UK), L’evive Labs (Singapore), Sens.ai (Canada), ANI Biome (Croatia), and Oxford Healthspan (UK).

Dr Lesslar holds academic appointments at Griffith University’s National Centre for Neuroimmunology and Emerging Diseases and at the Geneva College of Longevity Science. Through her teaching, clinical practice, and international collaborations, Dr Lesslar continues to advance patient-centred, innovative models of medicine that challenge convention and bridge the frontiers of science, technology, and human resilience.

Dr Leah Hechtman (PhD) is a globally renowned naturopathic clinician who specialises in fertility, pregnancy, and comprehensive reproductive health. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is an active researcher, a published author, and a dedicated educator. She works in close coordination with each patient’s healthcare team, bridging gaps between different disciplines and theories to foster holistic and collaborative outcomes in both clinical practice and research. 

GERALD QUIGLEY

BPHARM, M.H.

GGerald is a Melbourne-based Pharmacist and Master Herbalist and a respected health media commentator heard weekly on radio stations across Australia. He is co-host of House of Wellness radio, broadcast each Sunday on the Nine Radio Network, including 2UE, 3AW, 4BC, 5AA, 4CA and regional networks. He also appears regularly on regional stations such as 4CA Cairns, 4RO Rockhampton, 531 3GG Gippsland and Black Star Radio. 

Gerald is a speaker for the National Institute of Integrative Medicine and holds professional memberships as a Fellow of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia, a Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society, and the American Botanical Council. 

He is a Non-Executive Board Member of Neurotech International Pty Ltd, supporting research into a specific cannabis extract showing promise for paediatric neurological disorders, including autism, Rett syndrome, PANS and PANDAS.

Bobby Mehta is a highly accomplished and award-winning international Pharmacist, Education Delivery Specialist and Integrative Medicine SME. He has extensive pharmacy career spanning 28 years spent in both the United Kingdom and Australia. As well as over two decades of experience in community pharmacy, he has also been actively involved in the pharmaceutical industry for more than seven years, specifically within the field of complementary and integrative medicine education. Bobby was recently elected to the branch committee of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. Notably, he holds the distinction of being one of the pioneering Pharmacists worldwide to achieve the prestigious Prescribing Pharmacist status, having successfully completed the program in the UK in 2007. Bobby Mehta delivered outstanding service at Blackmores Institute as an Educator and Pharmacist, across both Australia and Asia.

He has delivered numerous complementary medicine training sessions to Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, and Pharmacy students in Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.

PROF ALAN BENSOUSSAN

PHD, MSC, ADVCAC, DIPAC, PG DIPED, BSC

Emeritus Professor Alan Bensoussan is one of Australia’s leading integrative medicine researchers. In 2007, he established the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) at Western Sydney University, seed funded through bilateral support from the Australian Commonwealth and State Governments. He has served as lead investigator on numerous high-quality clinical trials and herbal medicine studies and has published over 200 scientific papers, two books, and multiple book chapters. 

Professor Bensoussan has significantly influenced Australian health policy through his work with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and ministerial committees, including research that led to the national regulation of Chinese medicine practitioners in 2012—the first Western nation to implement such regulation. 

NICM Health Research Institute is now internationally recognised for integrative medicine research, spanning preclinical, clinical, and translational work. It has been rated by the Australian Government’s Excellence in Research for Australia scheme as performing “well above world-class” across three consecutive assessments (2012, 2015, and 2018).

DR DENISE FURNESS PHD

Denise Furness, PhD, is a functional geneticist and internationally recognised leader in nutrigenomics and epigenetics, with over 20 years of experience. She has dedicated her career to understanding how genes interact with the environment and how this knowledge can be used to transform health outcomes. Her award-winning research focused on gene–nutrient interactions, DNA methylation, and DNA damage, supporting a more personalised approach to healthcare. 

In 2012, Denise founded Your Genes & Nutrition, bridging cutting-edge science with real-world clinical practice. She later launched the Academy for Precision Health, a global education platform training healthcare practitioner in DNA, epigenetic, and biological age testing to deliver personalised, proactive care. 

Denise’s clinic specialises in fertility, autoimmune thyroid conditions, and healthy ageing. After overcoming her own autoimmune thyroid disease and genetic risk for cognitive decline, she is passionate about empowering others to optimise methylation, slow biological ageing, and improve quality of life.

Dr Ross Walker is an eminent practising cardiologist with 45 years’ clinical experience and a strong focus on people and health. For the past 25 years, he has specialised in preventative cardiology and is recognised as one of Australia’s leading preventative health experts. 

In September 2025, Dr Walker received the NutraChampion Asia-Pacific award from NutraIngredients, becoming the first clinician honoured for services to the integrative medical field. In Q4 2025, he will lead the launch of W Life, a longevity service promoting evidence-based anti-ageing programs. 

Dr Walker is a renowned keynote speaker, life coach, and author of seven best-selling books, with his latest, Health Span, due in late 2025. He is a regular media presenter and appears weekly on the Nine Radio Network.
